So check this out... I started using an old Yakima bike roof rack I had stripped off the wife's Subaru and installed on my Jeep. Fabricating a Cheap MTB Hitch Rack A few years ago I decided to start carrying my mountain bike on the front of my Jeep. So a bunch of us when up to Pisgah this past weekend for an Epic. The route we took in Pisgah was really brutal!It's still soaking in how tough it really was... But I had a great time and would do it again in a heart beat! Honestly, I had no idea what we where getting into before we headed out for the ride. Cycling has always been a big part of my life. I want my daughter to enjoy riding the same way that I have. While we also try to get out as a family, riding gives us a chance to get out together for some father daughter time too. At 9 she's still pretty cautious on the trail, but is getting better every time out. The quest for the next big ride! I was watching a video posted here on the site last night. As I watched it, I though... Hell! I want to ride that! So I plan to do some research on the trail that was featured in the video. But first, I've had my eye on a trail down in Georgia for a few months now.
