I grew up right across the street from what is now the Sherman Branch Mountain Bike Trails and there's little out there that I did not explore. I remember the day I came across
the Silo, of course I had to climb it. I remember it was very difficult to reach the ladder to get started to the top and I busted my butt a couple of times trying to jump to the first ladder rung. But I eventually made it and climbed to the top. What I remember most about getting to the top is that I shouldn't had bothered with it cause I was covered in cob webs. So I climbed down, went crawdad hunting and never climbed it again.
