After having another opportunity to ride the Pacenti Steel 650b Hardtail demo that my buddy got from Kirk Pacenti of Bikelugs.com I knew I had to have a 650b and it must be a steel frame. I was so impressed with the demo bike that I didn't waist anytime and started unloading some 29er parts and a frame so I could raise the cash I needed to get my 650b.
Once my 29er frame, rims and fork sold, I contacted Kirk, supplied him with some info about myself, my riding style, weight, body specs. and within a few days he had frame design rendering back to me for review. We got the frame's design specs dialed in and discuss color options, tires and forks.
Today I placed my order for a Pacenti 650b steel hard tail frame, a Neo-Moto for the front wheel, a Quasi-Moto for the rear and a White Brothers Magic 100mm 650b fork. The color I decided to go with is going to be sweet and I can't wait to see it!
But even more... I can't wait to get back on a 650b.
