Ventana, El Bastardo
My new 650b Ventana, El Bastardo frame arrive the other day. SWEET!!!!! Now I just need to get a fork and new wheelset for it. I'm thinking I'll break down my last 29er wheelset to rob the Hope Pro II hubs from them. Considering the fact that the front hub is convertible to a 20mm fork... it is really appealing to keep them just for the Bastardo, but I hate to break down a perfectly good wheelset... needs some thought.
Update: Decided to break down the 29er wheelset last night. At this point it's official... I'm done with 29ers completely and have nothing left that can get me rolling on another 29er without spending money and that's not going to happen. So that's behind me... it's 650b all the way now!
Update: Picked up a White Brothers Fluid 20mm fork dirt cheap on ebay! Installed it today... damn nice fork for the price I paid! Looks real nice on the red Bastard!
