Hey any of you'll been out to Beach Spring in Concord, NC lately? There has been a good bit of work done out there by the Tarheel Trail Blazers and they really got the trails in good condition. Most of the really knotty roots are gone now and it sure speeds things up on that first long tight techincal section.

There has been some home construction out there that took out a little of the backend trails, but not enough to really hurt the overall ride. This area has also been rerouted so it's not a problem.

I'm with ya.  The recent trail work has cleaned up some erosion problems and improved the flow of the trail. 

Don't get me wrong, the trail hasn't lost it's rugged character, it's just gotten some much needed TLC.  Go check it out if you haven't been out there lately.  It's in great shape.

Went out there last week, looked like a tornado hit the place. A lot of trees and limbs knocked down. Heard there was a large old oak that came down at Sherman too.
