I see that there are alot more CX races on the calendar this season than I've seen in the past.  Anyone racing cyclocross that can give some feedback? 

Do most of the crossers ride true cross bikes or do you see some mountain bikes mixed in there too?  Would like to try a few races, but don't want to go the full CX route with sampling a bit first.
