What's the one frame you wish you never had gotten rid of?

For me the one frame I wish I still had, is the first one I saved my money for to get... a 1992 Schwinn Moab. It was my first real mountain bike. I was so proud of that $600.00 bike and thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I rode that bike almost every day. It's the bike I learned how to work on bikes with. But after three years I had out grown it and got a new bike, a Litespeed Obed and the Moab sat in the corner of the garage collecting dust. Every once in a while a friend would borrow it and on occasions I'd even take it out for old time sake. Eventually I desided the poor thing needed to be ridden instead of sitting around covered in dust. So I cleaned the old girl up, changed out all the cables, gave her a used part upgrade from my old Obed parts I was replacing. Trued up the wheels, got her dialed in and took her out for a spin. I had a good time riding the Moab again one last time.

About a week later I gave it to a friend and we went riding. About 3 years later my friend had moved away and the Moab went too. I sometimes wonder if the Moab is still getting ridden, or is now recycled scrap metal. Knowing my buddy, it's probably still getting to see the trails, but showing it's age, probably doesn't shift very well now and the wheels are not very true any longer. But I guess that's better than sitting in the garage collecting dust. It wasn't that it was really that good of a bike... it actually wasn't, but it was my first Mtn bike and I wish I still had it sometimes.
