What do you carry with you on your rides?
I remember back in earlier days of my biking, I use to carry a good bit of stuff.

• Spare tire
• Patch kit
• Pump
• Zip ties
• Spoke wrench
• Chain tool
• Alan wrench
  
• Tire levers
• A few chain links
• Sure I'm forgetting some other things too.

These days I don't realy carry much at all.

• Chain tool
• A few chain links
  
• A zip tie
• A whistle (for emergencies)

When I do go on longer rides in the mountains, I'll check with the other guys I'm with and figure out what we should take... spread out among us all. So a tube or something else may get added to the list.

On local rides I don't really carry Gue or Shots with me. but on an all day ride in the mountains, I'll add some extra water and a bar or so to hold me over during the ride.

Seriously, these days very little, unless I going out of town and planning a long day in the woods.

Now, on the road I always take a spare tube, air and tire level and a dollar bill.
