I've been riding a long time but have never been to Moab. I feel like I'm missing out! Looking for some feedback from folks that have been. I found this website that includes info on a range of trails. I would love to ride slickrock, but would also like to ride some good ol fashion singletrack. http://www.discovermoab.com/biking.htmI know it's basically a desert area, but are all the trails open desert trails? Are there trails that have less exposure? I'm guessing the open nature of the trails would make certain times of year unbearable! Any feedback? What time of year did you ride?

This past Thanksgiving I went to Moab, unfortunatly my group got hung up in Fruita CO. Fruita's trails were designed for MTBing, unlike Moab, where every once and while we came across dirt bikes...Sharing the trail with motors, not cool. Anyways, when you do go to Moab, plan a few days to stop in Fruita CO. You will be glad you did. The trail systems to check out in Fruita: 18 Road and Kokopelli

Sthrnfat, A guy I ride knows a group of people heading out to Moab sometime in April, want me to see if there's still some slots open for this trip?
I was concidering it for a while but money is an issue and I'll never raise the cash in time to make it. If you want more info on this trip, let me know and I'll contact him.

Hey, you should check out moabworld.com. It's got a ton of useful information on bike setup, where to stay, trails etc. Killer videos too.
