When we lose daylight in the fall it always brings on a little depression. Hate to look out the window at work and see that's it's already dark out! Night riding is always an option for getting out for a ride, but it still sucks when you can't do much else outside in the evening!
Glad to see the daylight hanging around a little later!! Got out for a ride last night after work and rode til around 715 with a little daylight to spare!

My schedule is very screwy! I get in late and work late... on the most part, I can't stand my work schedule, but it does allow me the freedom to skip out when I can and get in a ride during the day if I so choose... I just pull a few more hours the next day to cover it.
But I'm stoked about the time change and ready to get out and ride in this nice weather.

Here in Papua New Guinea, we're only about 6 degrees south of the equator....so the length of our days doesn't vary much at all throughout the year. Though we also have "spring-like" temps year round....it comes with a price.....rainy season for 4-5 months. I'm surprised at how much I miss the time change where I'm from on the East Coast of the US and the longer days of summer. Also miss night rides...and though those are not exactly adviseable in my present location, I'm planning on taking my chances a bit and heading out for one soon with some buddies....if I can talk them into it . I just keep telling them it will make them ride faster! Enjoy the extra hour....you dogs!
