Fence came down and the watering hole went dry...(at the usnwc)...
Cows are running free and heading north towards a field full of green grass pastures...
Town of Davidson Welcomes the Cowbell Challenge Race to Fisher Farms!!!
The Fisher Farm trails have some really nice flowing single track about 4 plus miles and there will be 2 or 3 miles of double track.
and free parking too... |

Hate it didn't work out with the whitewater folks, but I'm not surprised that they would be tough to deal with based on their recent press.
Only been up to Fisher Farm once, but I liked the trail. If you can work a 7-8 mile loop out of it should be a great race!
Let us know if you need help with the course.

it is a nice breath of fresh air for me this year, after the pass couple of years dealing the directors or the usnwc, sort of a bitter sweet... didn't want to move the race, but really got tired of dealing, all the fun was take out of it for me...so, very happy that i could work something out with the Town of Davidson, i am going to put as much as can out there at fisher farmers for the race...

Yes, the race is still on the same date, June 21
and thesame race times start 10am to 10pm.
we will be updating the cowbell site soon.

Would be great to get 7-8 miles out at Fisher Farm. Keep us updated on the course set up. I'd like to get out to ride it and see the double track sections too.

Today there was going to be a entry fee price increase for the Cowbell race, but with the raising cost of Fuel, Parking to Ride and a few other things... I decided to hold off on the increase until June 12... next price increase is June 12 goes up $10, then you have 7 days , June 20 goes up again $10 which is the last day to entry the race...still NO race day registration
still free parking at Fisher Farms ...oatmeal cookies are better than cobbler...
