Yea... I'm completely impress with the 305!
Capturing my routes while I ride is nice. I've actually been using the heart rate monitor going on 4 months now and I started applying the data captured to my rides and I've seen an improvement in my average speed, time and my overall performance has improved. And the ability to download a route and use the Garmin to guide you along a trail you've never ridden before is really sweet. Like having a tour guide, but you are relying on the data captured by the person who had ridden the trail, captured their ride, and how well they navigated the trail. You also have to consider cloud coverage and did they get a good signal when they captured the route... so I wouldn't say it's 100%, but it damn sure got SS and I through DuPont successfully with only one wrong turn that we figured out quickly. I'd certainly count on it to guide me through a trail again, but I'd still carry a map.

That's a great feature. Knew it would record your rides, but didn't realize you could use it as a ride guide. Great tool to be able to venture to areas you haven't ridden.
