I might be interested in picking up a 29er frame. What is a rough price range for one of your hardtail frames? I like the idea of picking up something that's made locally and supporting local folks.

Glad that your interested in a local creation. It is a local deal in the true sense...we encourage (insist) that you get your hands on the frame start to finish, the conception and birth of your "Smokebikes" frame is a hands on affair.....give us a call or look us up on da web and you will see. I see you guys are like frame building instructors. Is that correct? I'd like to find out more about this. How long does it typically take to build up a frame? I guess I'd have to make a few road trips to get one finished, but it would be really cool to get my hands in the action and see what the results are. I've never done much welding, so do you think I could pull this off without ruining some good tubing?
