Hey any of you guys using SRAM grip shifters?
I've been thinking about trying them out for some time now. I was planning to get a set for a 3 speed I was going to set up on my Padrino, but a couple of guys I know got some for the fully geared bikes and they keep ranting about how great they are... how they like them so much more than their Trigger shifters.

I dig the fact that you can micro dial in a grip shifter if you start getting a bit of chain skip, but I've never used them enough to have any good idea if they are worth switching to permanently to.

i stopped using triggers a decade ago and wont go back.
i have ape-like hands and that also was a pain with triggers
my fingers always felt cramped up trying to shift.
i prefer the shorter version just due to grip configuration.
they are also now making lock-on grips to pair up with srams.

there quick, clean, and not fickle

I like the simplicity of grip shifters. I think I'll end up getting a set once I bust or wear out my triggers.
